Registration of three hospitals cancelled

BELGAUM: The District Health and Family Welfare Office has cancelled the registration of three private hospitals for allegedly carrying out sex-determination tests in violation of the PNDT Act. According to an official release by District Health and Family Welfare Officer B.A. Patanshetty , two of the three hospitals — Dr. Jambu Annappa Sadalge's Clinic in Bhoj and Dr. Guruprasad's Maternity and Nursing Home in Kagwad — are in Athani taluk while Dr. S.B. Wadiyar Memorial Hospital is in Harugeri in Raibag taluk.
