Back Apollo Tyres Q3 net at Rs 16.4 cr

THE Rs 2,650-crore Apollo Tyres Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 16.4 crore on net sales of Rs 678.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005.

The company had registered a net profit of Rs 16.80 crore on net sales of Rs 571 crore in the same period during the previous year. Meanwhile, the board of directors, who met in Mumbai on Monday, has approved the elevation of the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Neeraj R.S. Kanwar, to the position of Joint Managing Director of the company.
