Back Operational efficiencies boost Indo Gulf Fert Q3 net 19.5 pc

MUMBAI: Indo Gulf Fertilisers Ltd has reported a 19.5 per cent increase in its third quarter net profit at Rs 21.33 crore from Rs 17.85 crore in the year-ago period.

Net sales edged down to Rs 167.04 crore from Rs 173.73 crore.

Focus on operational efficiencies and better price realisation helped profit growth. The availability of gas though satisfactory was marginally lower than the company's requirement.

Its shares gained Rs 3.65 in Tuesday's trade to Rs 220.15 on BSE.
