Back NMPT gets new Deputy Chairman

MR M.A. BHASKARACHAR assumed charge as Deputy Chairman of New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) here on Wednesday. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Chairman of Kolkata Port Trust in charge of Kolkata dock system for four years.

This is Mr Bhaskarachar's second stint at NMPT. He had earlier joined NMPT as FA&CAO (Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer) in 1993. A fellow member of ICWAI (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India), Mr Bhaskarachar holds an MBA degree.
