Back Water levels decline at major reservoirs in Kerala Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The water levels at three major reservoirs of Kerala - Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada - declined marginally from the levels recorded last week. At Idukki, the level declined from 2,382.88 feet to 2,380.21 feet, while at Idamalayar, the decline was from 522.51 feet to 520.60 feet. At Kallada, the level came down from 373.69 feet to 371.46 feet. However, compared to last year, the water levels at Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada reservoirs recorded increases of 27.66 feet, 30.08 feet and 9.19 feet respectively.
