BANGALORE: Burglars struck at four business establishments at Jakkur Layout in the early hours of Wednesday and made away with Rs. 12,000 in cash. The police said that between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., the burglars entered two pharmacies, a fancy items shop and an Internet centre.
While they broke open the rolling shutters of some establishments, they used duplicate keys to enter the other shops.
Two men on a motorcycle snatched a gold chain estimated at Rs. 20,000 from a woman in Girinagar police station limits on Tuesday.
The police said that around 3 p.m. the two men snatched the chain from Radha while she was walking towards her house in Vinoba Colony in Avalahalli.
