Krishnamurthi and Rajkumar bag double

Usilampatti: T. Rajkumar of Kallar HSS Pappapatti (100m and long jump) and K. Krishnamurthi of Nadar Saraswathy HSS, Usilampatti (200 and 400m) bagged a double each in the eighth standard boys' section in the World Beater's Talent Spotting Scheme athletic meet on Thursday.

The results (all winners): Boys: Eight Std: 100m: T. Rajkumar; 200m: K. Krishnamurthy; 400 m: K. Krishnamurthy; Long jump: T. Rajkumar; High jump: S. Krishnakumar (PKN HSS, Thirumangalam); Shot put: T. Damodharan (PKN HSS).

Seventh Std: 100m: P. Sivakumar (Francis MHSS, TMG); 200m: P. Sivakumar; 400m: M. Solomon (PKNHSS); Long jump: P. Ajith (Panchayat Union Middle School, Doddappanaickanur); High jump: R. Chandran (NSHSS); Shot put: R. Manjakumar (Kiran MHSS, Checkanurani).

Girls: Eighth Std: 100m: P. Pandi Meera (T.E.L.C G.H.S.S); 200m: T. Remica (TELCGHSS); 400m: P. Meenadevi (R.C.Little Flower G.H.S.S); Long jump: R. Praba Selvi (R.C. Little Flower); High jump: Kodeeswari (Govt. GHSS TMG); Shot put: L. Lakshmi (R.C. Little Flower).
