Sports-cum-cultural complex inaugurated

TIRUPATI: TTD Executive Officer A.P.V.N. Sarma on Friday inaugurated sports-cum-cultural complex constructed by Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA). The complex situated in TUDA grounds has been remodelled and rechristened as `Indira Maidanam,' while a state-of-the-art `Rajiv conference hall' with a seating capacity for 800 was opened at the TUDA compound.

KADAPA: A fifth standard student Srikanth Reddy, (11), of Bayanapalle village was run over by a tractor near Venkatasettipalle bridge in Badvel mandal on Saturday. 18 hurt as two buses collide

KADAPA: Eighteen passengers sustained injuries when two APSRTC buses collided head-on on Sharabdinne road on Badvel-Siddhavatam route on Friday evening. The injured were admitted to Kadapa Government hospital.

Science Olympiad today

TIRUPATI: The 8th national Science Olympiad - 2005-06 (second level test) will be conducted here at Little Angels school premises in Bhavani Nagar on Sunday. BSNL to install 80 new cell towers

Kakinada: BSNL would install eighty more cell towers by March-end to expand its services in the district, said RMM Krishna, General Manager Telecom, Rajahmundry, at an open house session here on Friday evening.
