BANGALORE: In view of the reduction in the rentals for landline connections, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has revised the landline tariff for customers in Bangalore. According to a BSNL press release, the customers who had opted for Budget Plan are being migrated to the Economy Plan and those who had opted for Elite Plan are being shifted to Super Plan as it will benefit them. The monthly charges of Economy and Super plans have been reduced from Rs. 350 to Rs. 300 and Rs. 1,650 to Rs. 1,450 per month respectively. Unit call charges for calls above free calls have also been reduced from Re. 1 to 90 paise under the Super plan. The monthly charges for the Special package have been brought down from Rs. 750 to Rs. 475. The number of free calls has also been reduced from 600 to 500 under the Special package. Customers will also have the option to migrate to "IndiaOne" plan with effect from March 1, the release said. For clarifications, call at 1500.
