Evergreen Jayasudha

Popular actress Jayasudha, who is known for her natural style of acting, has completed 30 years of film career. Her debut film Lakshmana Rekha was released in 1975. Though not regularly sighted on the screen on account of her charity work, she hasn't really disappeared from the scene. Now, she has shifted from Chennai to Hyderabad to take up more charity work. She says, "I am grateful to the Telugu film industry. I also thank the Telugu audience for liking my performances. After such a long innings in my career, I don't want to accept all the roles that come in my way and I have become a little selective. I liked my role in the recent film Style, which had a right blend of dance, music and sentiment. I was especially moved by Lawrence's performance."
