IF the idea of going on a safari to a place made famous by the likes of the former US President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, enthuses you then Kenya beckons.

"Kenya is keen to welcome more Indians. It offers a wide variety of choices for travellers, including going on a safari, scuba diving or seeing corals," the Managing Director, Kenya Tourist Board, Dr Ongong'a Achieng said.

The Kenya Tourist Board plans a series of road shows in Ahmedabad and Bangalore to attract Indian tourists. At present about 32,000 Indians visit Kenya annually, but officials are confident of a 10-15 per cent annual growth.
