It rained jasmines

Some 500 kgs of jasmine flower was used up for one of the eight folk songs in the film Sevanthi Sevanthiby director S. Narayan. The song "Chellidaro Malligeya" was shot in the surroundings of Chamundi Hills. About 30 tanks of water was pressed for the shooting. The jasmine was brought from nine districts for this five-day shooting. With 75 dancers and 20,000 extras taking part, it was a grand affair says producer S.A. Chinne Gowda. Vijaya Raghavendra, Ramya, Doddanna, Thulasi, Komal took part in the shooting.
