THE Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) and UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) will organise a day-long programme on `Post Hong Kong Consultations on WTO' here on February 24.

The programme is aimed at getting inputs from the stakeholders on the list of products that require protection through no or minimal reduction in bound customs tariffs, extent of flexibility in reducing bound customs tariffs in other products and specific products and markets of export interest to India.

Officials from the Department of Commerce (Govt of India) and UNCTAD-India Program will participate and lead the sessions. The sectors identified for the programme were agriculture (cotton, groundnuts, rice and mangoes) and NAMA (Non-Agricultural Market Access).

"This programme would help in deciding India's approach to the Agriculture and NAMA Negotiations at WTO," a FAPCCI press release said.
