IFMR launches B-school event

CHENNAI: Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) on Saturday launched its maiden B-school event, `Abhyudaya `06'.

A high point of the two-day event is the industry seminar featuring several experts on topics such as rural marketing and micro finance. Addressing students on the occasion, N. Murali, Joint Managing Director, The Hindu, underscored the fact that the rural sector in India held the key to future development. The IFMR Director R. Kannan and R. Chandrashekar, Head CAFS of IFMR also participated.
