BADRUKA Institute of Foreign Trade (BIFT) is looking for tie-ups with academic institutes of world repute to offer valueadded courses to its students.

"We are in talks with Nanyang Technological University to offer short-time modules in information technology for our students," Mr Dr S.K. Mathur, Director of BIFT and Badruka Institute of Foreign Education, said.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said talks were also on with University of Gloucestershire (UK) and the Singapore Institute of Management.

BIFT offered two-year Masters Programme in International Business under a memorandum of understanding with the Delhi-based IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade).

Claiming that the institute had a 100-per cent placement record, he said it had so far turned out 173 post-graduates, with 115 more studying in the current batches.

Seeing good response to its courses, the institute now planned to conduct entrance examination and interviews in 11 locations across the country.
