Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following areas on Saturday for maintenance work: Chindatripet, Muthialpet, Sowcarpet, Seven Wells, Purasawalkam, Virugambakkam, Ayapakkam, Kilpauk, Thousand Lights, Esplanade, Mandaveli, T.V. Pet, G.P.Road, Government Estate, Alwarpet, Ernavoor, Ice House, Porur, Puzhal, Gopalapuram, Tambaram, Mylapore, Kottur and Shenoy Nagar.

Prizes for winners

Winners of the business plan competition, organised last year by TANSTIA-FNF Service Centre and L-Ramp, will be given cash awards and mentoring support. The prize-winning entrepreneurs, selected for their business ideas with social impact, will be get their prizes on February 25.

Short story contest

Short stories in Telugu are invited for the R.S. Krishna Moorthy Award 2006, a release here said.
