Promoting education in Australian universities

CHENNAI: The Planet Road Show promoting education in Australia will be held on Friday at GRT Grand.

The event hosted by Planet Education, which specialises in foreign education and coaching for standardised tests, will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Faculty, marketing staff and representatives from various Australian universities will grant on-the-spot admission to students applying for different programmes.

The road show will offer students an opportunity to interact with the faculty and get their application fee waived.

MBA, IT, biotechnology, accounting, engineering / aviation, physiotherapy, arts / media / communication / tourism and hospitality management, architecture design, multimedia, health service / public health, and education and training are some of the fields in which courses are offered.

Participating universities include Swinburne, Wollongong, University of Technology, Sydney, La Trobe, Billy Blue School of Graphic Design, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University of Queensland, University of Western Australia, University of Adelaide, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Edith Cowan, Griffith, Melbourne Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, University of Western Sydeny, University of Southern Queensland and Macquaire University.

According to the organisers, the programme will provide a better understanding of the scope of education in Australia and an opportunity to meet the faculty of the respective universities and interact with them.
