FRAT announces development awards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Speaker M. Vijayakumar, former Union Minister O. Rajagopal and TRIDA chairman P.K. Venugopal have been chosen for the development awards instituted by the Federation of Residents Associations Thiruvananthapuram (FRAT) for their contributions to the development of the State capital district.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, FRAT general secretary Paraniyam Devakumar said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Ports Minister M.V. Raghavan and Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan would be honoured for their overall contributions in the development of the State.
