40 militants killed

ISLAMABAD: Days before the arrival of U.S. President George W. Bush, Pakistan on Wednesday claimed to have killed at least 40 members of the Al-Qaeda and Taliban at a militant training camp in North Waziristan.

Wazirtistan is the theatre of guerilla warfare between the Pakistani military and Al-Qaeda and Taliban.
