You begin with congratulating `Jiththan' Ramesh and enquiring about the actor's newly married status. "It's wonderful," he laughs. And moving on to the completely comic role in `Jery,' he says, "I had to do a lot of homework for `Jery.'

"Initially I was nervous about doing comedy. People around kept telling me I could, and soon I prepared myself for the plunge.

"It's a Jim Carey kind of role _ and with `Crazy' Mohan's dialogue to boot it is bound to be a rib-tickler."
