Aftabuddin shines for M.P.

CHENNAI: Aftabuddin scored a hat-trick in Madhya Pradesh's 7-1 win over Jharkhand in the All-India Postal hockey tournament at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.

Siraj-ul-Haq, Faisal Ali, R. K. Yadav and Md. Razzaque were the other scorers. Besant Tiru netted for Jharkhand.

In another match, Karnataka overcame Tamil Nadu 2-1. Prakash Chalke scored a brace while Jawahar found the net for Tamil Nadu.
