Madhavapeddi Satyam Award presented

Chennai: The Madhavapeddi Satyam Award was presented to P.B. Sreenivos, playback singer, and the Madhavapeddi Prabhavathi Award to Indira Dutt, president of the World Telugu Federation, by the Siva Foundation, here on Thursday.

M.S. Murthy, Chairman, MSM group of companies, presented the awards. The Siva Foundation awards were presented to six people from different fields: Poornam Viswanathan for drama, Savithri Jagannatha Rao for her contribution to Bharatanatyam, B.S.R. Krishna, senior journalist, and literary critic, T.S. Ramanan, for excellence in digital laboratory technology, Dr. Jamunakumari, founder of the Kavitha Nursing Home, and D.S. Ayyulu, Bharathanatyam costume designer.

Dr. P. Rama Mohana Rao, secretary, Highways, Madhavapeddi Murthy, founder-convenor of Siva Foundation and C. Rajan Babu, vice president, participated.
