Back Dr Reddy's completes Betapharm buy

Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has announced on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of Betapharm Group, the fourth largest generic pharmaceuticals company based in Germany, for a total enterprise value of {euro} 480 million in cash. In a press release here, Dr Reddy's Chief Operating Officer, Mr Satish Reddy, said, "We have successfully completed the acquisition of Betapharm. The strategic investment in Betapharm is a step forward towards realising Dr Reddy's strategic intention of building a global generics business with strategic presence in all key markets."
