ANANTAPUR: Some 25 passengers of an APSRTC bus were injured, eight of them seriously, when the bus overturned near Raganapalli village in Nallamada mandal on Monday after the driver lost control over the vehicle due to problem in the steering wheel. According to the police, the bus (AP-11Z-1219) was on way to Nallamada from Kadiri when the accident occurred. Driver lost control over the vehicles when it was travelling near Raganapalli as the steering wheel developed a problem and did not function. As a result, the bus ran off the road and overturned. Fortunately, speed of the bus was not high and the passengers had a providential escape from a major accident.
