Scholarship test for Standards 7, 8 and 9 students

KOCHI: The Hindu Education Plus and T.I.M.E. are organising a scholarship test for the current 7th, 8th and 9th standard students on April 2 at Kochi and Thiruvananthauram. This test will check the students' abilities in physics, chemistry and mathematics. There will also be a special section on Aptitude. The first prize for each class will be a cash award of Rs. 5,000 plus a citation. The second and third prizes in each class will be Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 respectively. Other high performers will receive free books apart from scholarships. A seminar on how to plan and prepare for the child's future would be held after the test in which the parents can also take part, says a press release. The registration fee for the scholarship test is Rs. 50.
