The current year's turnover is expected to cross $ 24 million

KOCHI: GDA Technologies, a Silicon Valley company, is to spruce up its operations in Kochi and is to recruit 200 engineers during the course of the next two years.

This was stated by A.G. Karunakaran, co-founder of GDA Technologies, while talking to reporters here on Monday. The company, which has offices in Bangalore and Chennai, would be recruiting 500 engineers in another couple of years. The current year's turnover is expected to cross $ 24 million, up from $18 million last year. The company is a leader in the electronics design services, partner for embedded networking and consumer product companies.

Mr. Karunkaran said the company was primarily interested in automation design by creating re-using building blocks within the system design and offering intellectual property blocks in integrated circuits development and digital video software. It is one of the few companies in the sector and has created enough infrastructures for complete turnkey outsourcing in design area.
