Time for theatre workshop for children

Bangalore: If summer is here, can workshops be far behind. No way, says the theatre crowd at Ranga Shankara. So, get ready kids. Because, the landmark of theatre in the city is all set for a theatre workshop, to be conducted by Pinty Rao. "Over the last few years, Rao has established herself as a theatre educator for children. An actress since the age of 15, Rao has worked as an assistant director on Shankar Nag's Malgudi Days. Story-telling and Process Work Facilitation are her other areas of work," says a release.

There will be two batches of the workshop. One from April 6 to 15, and another from April 20 to 29. Participating children should be between nine and 12 years of age. Classes will be conducted everyday between 10 a.m. and 12 noon at Ranga Shankara, J.P. Nagar 2nd Phase.
