Basketball title for Loyola

TIRUCHI: Loyola College, Chennai won all its semifinal league encounters and clinched the title at the ninth State-level inter-collegiate basketball tournament for the Krishnaswamy Naidu Memorial Trophy here on Thursday. Jeppiar Engineering College finished runner up with two wins. Host Jamal Mohammed College secured third spot.

The results: Loyola College bt Sourashtra College, Madurai 38-22; Jeppiar Engineering College bt Jamal Mohammed College 51-38.
