Prabhu opens ayurvedic clinic

CHENNAI: Actor Prabhu inaugurated Ayurcare, an ayurvedic wellness centre here on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference, executive director Ranveer Puri said the clinic had partnered with Dhanwanthri Vaidyasala based in Kerala.

"We propose to open five more centres in the city by the end of this year," said Mr. Puri.

The centre would have one doctor and 10 therapists from Kerala.

The therapists have undergone training at the Dhanwanthri Vaidyasala. The centre aims at providing treatment for various ailments such as joint pain, spondylitis, arthritis, paralysis, diabetes and migraine.

"We are also planning to work with corporates and make our de-stress programmes available to them," said Rukumani Chandrasekhar, chief executive.

Membership packages

The fee for one consultation is Rs.100. Different membership packages are also available. It was announced that consultation would be free during the inaugural week.
