Man sentenced to five years RI

BANGALORE: The IX Fast Track Sessions Judge, N.S. Neginal, has sentenced Arun Kumar to five years rigorous imprisonment and has imposed a fine of Rs. 2,000 on him after finding him guilty of attempting to murder his wife, Ammu, in January 2005. Arun Kumar had doused Ammu with kerosene and had set her on fire. The Bharati Nagar police had registered a case against him.
