Federal Bank opens new branch

Information Technology secretary P. H. Kurien inaugurating the new branch of Federal Bank at Infopark on Tuesday.

KOCHI : A new branch of Federal Bank was opened at Infopark, Kakkanad, on Tuesday.

P. H. Kurien, secretary, Information Technology and managing director, KSIDC, inaugurated the branch. Infopark CEO K. G. Girish Babu inaugurated the ATM centre.

Bank chairman M. Venugopalan presided over the inaugural function. The bank's Ernakulam regional head, Ipe Peter, welcomed the gathering and branch manager Varghese Samuel proposed a vote of thanks.

The bank plans to open several new branches soon, including at Ramanattukara (Kozhikode), Kakkanad (Seaport-Airport Road), Valancherry, Edamuttam, Koorkancherry and Island, according to a bank release.
