The following are among the information furnished to the Bombay Stock Exchange by the companies concerned. Reliance Communication Ventures said it will raise $500 million from the international market through the issue of foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) at a premium to the market price of the company's equity shares, subject to necessary approvals. The shares were quoting around Rs. 320 on the BSE. Teledata Informatics said it has acquired the U.S. based Alpha Soft Services Corporation through its subsidiary. The U.S.-based company provides high quality IT services in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), data warehousing, e-business and related technologies. The financial details of the acquisition were not mentioned. Punj Lloyd, an engineering company, said it has decided to invest Rs. 38 crore in noted cardiac surgeon Naresh Trehan's `Medicity Project'. The board, at its meeting held on Monday, approved the proposal for investing in the equity share capital of New Delhi-based Global Health Pvt. Ltd. to implement the project. Sirpur Paper Mills has informed that it has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 2.50 (25 per cent) per share (Rs. 10 paid up) and proportionate dividend (Re 1 per share) on partly paid shares (Rs. 4 paid up) for the financial year ending March 31, 2006.
