Today's Writing plans EOU

CHENNAI: Today's Writing Products Ltd. (TWPL), a leading manufacturer and exporter of writing products, proposes to set up a 100 per cent export oriented unit (EOU) for manufacturing ball pens, gel ink pens, refills, highlighters and markers to cater to the increasing world demand. With the implementation of the EOU, the company's manufacturing capacity will increase to 29.50 lakh pens a day from 9.50 lakh pens a day. To part finance this project as also the stationery project, the company proposes to enter the capital market with a public issue.
