Back CII Karnataka council office-bearers

Mr S. Gopalakrishnan, COO and Deputy Managing Director, Infosys Technologies Ltd, has been elected Chairman of CII, Karnataka for 2006-07. He will take over the mantle from Mr Daljit Mirchandani, Chairman and President of Ingersoll Rand (India).

Mr "Kris" Gopalakrishnan is currently the Chairman of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Kerala, and Vice-Chairman of the Information Technology Education Standards Board set up by the Karnataka Government. He is also a member of the board of directors of National Internet Exchange of India. Mr A.K. Saxena, Managing Director, HAL, has been elected Vice-Chairman of CII Karnataka State Council.
