New Delhi, Mar 22

Malaysia Airlines is to withdraw the thrice-a-week flights it operates to Kolkata and Ahmedabad from April 1 this year. The flights to the two cities are being withdrawn as part of the airlines business turnaround plan. "Malaysia Airlines will honour all forward bookings ticketed to date on the routes involved in the route rationalisation. The airline will make alternative arrangements at its own cost to ensure minimum discomfort to customers' travel plans," the airline has said in a statement. The airline currently operates 33 weekly flights to seven cities in India.
