Back Indo-Dhaka ties
This has reference to your editorial "Neighbourly realities" (Business Line, March 25). The recent visit of the Bangladesh Prime Minister, Begum Khaleda Zia, should be regarded as a good beginning. The Bangladeshi Prime Minister should, in fact, be happy with the agreements signed to boost trade and economic ties and for jointly combating drug-trafficking and abuse. But the main concerns of India the right to transit goods through its territory to India's North-Eastern states, the closure of the terrorist camps operating against India, illegal immigration etc remain unaddressed. India has to continue the dialogue to solve these problems. A. Jacob Sahayam Thiruvananthapuram
