CHENNAI: The spring edition of Education Worldwide India Fair comes to Chennai next month as part of a series of events organised across key cities. Organised by Global Events & Expositions, the fair will touch Chennai on April 21 and 22 at Hotel Ambassador Pallava, involving more than 45 institutions. The other cities being covered are Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

According to Siddharth Jain, Chief, Marketing Operations of Global Events & Expositions, with over 250 participants from all over the world and various parts of India, the series of education fairs will provide accurate and up-to-date information on professional courses and career options available in various streams, including management, computer education, medicine, fashion, multimedia, tourism, air hostess training and graphic design besides other sectors. Participating educational consultants are from countries such as Singapore, the U.K, France, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, Switzerland, the U.S.A, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Cyprus, Russia and New Zealand. Indian educational institutes from different parts of the country such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will also participate in the event. Banks such as Indian Bank, the State Bank of India, State Bank of Mysore and Dena Bank will arrange special counselling sessions to facilitate easy understanding of and create awareness about the different educational loans for students. Loans would also be sanctioned on the spot. The exposition is being supported by institutions such as C-Tech Enterprise (Canada), Education Planners and Planners Worldwide, US Journal and World Education Tours.
