CHENNAI: A fire broke out on Tuesday in a tool-manufacturing unit near Tiruvanmiyur, which was shut down recently. Fire and Rescue Services authorities said waste materials had accumulated in the company premises, located near the Taramani - Velacheri Road junction. Suddenly the material caught fire on Tuesday afternoon. A couple of units from Guindy put out the blaze However, there was no damage to the property nor was anyone injured, fire services authorities said.
