Students stage demonstration

CHENNAI : Over two dozen students from Deenadayal Engineering College near Thiruvallur, staged a demonstration in front of the Anna University, demanding their transfer to another college, citing poor infrastructure facilities and faculty on Tuesday.

The students most of them from outside Tamil Nadu, also alleged that more fees than which had been prescribed were being collected by the institution. Their results had been `withheld' by the university, although they had paid their examination fees.
