BPO company Genpact (formerly GE Capital International Services) will establish delivery centres in Poland and Philippines this year, for which it plans to hire 1,500 professionals in each centre."We will be setting up two centres in Poland and Philippines this year where we will employ 1,500 people each. The Poland centre will cater to the German market and will be both voice and non-voice, while the Philippines facility will be mainly voice," Mr Pramod Bhasin, President and CEO of Genpact, said on the sidelines of a conference here.

The company is also considering setting up a centre in Kolkata for financial services, accounting and analytical functions, he said."We have no plan to go for an initial public offering. We don't need to go for it," he said adding that GE, which still holds 40 per cent stake in the company, was not considering exiting Genpact at this point. Mr Bhasin said the company did not have any plans to tap the domestic BPO market.
