Back Action plan for BITS Our Bureau
Hyderabad , March 30 The upcoming BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science) 200-acre campus in Hyderabad will become the best of all BITS campus. The administration has chalked out a four-year action plan to make it the best, Mr S. Venkateswaran, Vice-Chancellor of BITS, said. Talking to reporters after performing `bhoomi puja' at the site near here, he said the institute hoped to commence classes in the academic year in 2007. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, is likely to lay the foundation stone in July. The campus, which would offer courses in 13 disciplines, would house 600 students.
