Chitrai Thiruvizha at C.P. Art Centre

CHENNAI: The Chitrai Thiruvizha at C.P. Art Centre, Alwarpet, has everything under one roof.

Organised by R. Mahaveer, Manager, M.V. Handicrafts, the exhibition has panchaloka idols, gift articles in brass, and white and black metals, paintings from Rajasthan, radium and terracotta statues, Chettinad antiques, and jewellery, including silver earrings, necklaces, bracelets, chains, and the one-gram gold jewellery varieties.

Products made of Kashmiri walnut wood, sofa sets, almirah, dining table, Saharanpur seesam wood pieces, acupressure items, phone stands, puja stands, rosewood elephants and Kathakali masks are on display.

Handloom saris, Banjara children's wear, bedsheets and house furnishings, Banares letterholders, silk cushion covers and other products are also being showcased.

The exhibition will be open till April 10. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mridanga Vidwan Srimushnam Raja Rao on Thursday.
