Prizes galore for Airtel customers

CHENNAI: Airtel gave away special prizes to winners of different contests held between December and February.

The Airtel Dhamaka was open to customers across India.

They had to dial a number and answer general knowledge questions by choosing from the options given.

Pitchai Balamurugan, who accumulated the maximum number of points, was declared winner, and won a Swift car.

An SMS contest was conducted to celebrate Rajnikanth's birthday on December 12.

Participants had to answer 25 questions on the superstar. Ashok Kumar, an Airtel customer from Salem, won this one. He got the sunglasses that Rajinikanth wore in Chandramukhi.

S. Anburajan, a businessman from Madurai, bid the highest and won a Samsung 21" television in the `Bid and Win' contest.
