Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, director of the institute M. They offered to give an opportunity to students of the institute, after which the top three rank holders in the Chemical Engineering stream were selected.

Special guesthouse

A guesthouse has been constructed exclusively for the three interns.

They would be provided with bicycles to commute to their office. They would also be given a scholarship of about US$ 1,200. The institute would sponsor the air travel.

R.Ranganathan, chairman of the institute's software division of the institute said there were alumni of SRM worked in Hiyoshi.

"Even otherwise, there are a few English-speaking employees in the organisation. So our students will not have any difficulty."

However, the students would undergo a crash course in Japanese.

The students said they looked forward to the exposure.
