CHENNAI: A number of students and parents are expecting the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be challenging this year. In the interest of those aspiring to score high in the BE/MBBS entrance examination in Tamil Nadu, The Hindu Education Plus and Aspire learning company private limited are organising a state level model test for BE/MBBS aspirants. It gives a real time experience of the actual BE/MBBS entrance examination. The test is simulated on the lines of the actual examination. The answer sheet will be in OMR format to give students a first hand experience of using it. The model test is implemented under the expert guidance of experienced professors, who have been examiners and paper setters for similar examinations. The test is conducted across the Tamil Nadu in various centres. Helps ascertain speed, efficiency and specifies areas of improvement. Feedback ahead of the actual examination helps find out where the student stands. This state level model test is to be conducted across 15 centres in Tamil Nadu. Applications will be issued from April 3 and last date for submission of filled applications is April 10. The test fee would be Rs.125 for Engineering or Medicine and Rs.150 for both. The test is scheduled to be held on April 22 and 23, 2006.
