EC receives 113 petitions

New Delhi: The petitions seeking disqualification of MPs and MLAs from various States over the controversy on holding office of profit continued to mount with the Election Commission receiving some more complaints today.

``The Commission has so far received 113 complaints covering 79 MPs and 34 MLAs'', Deputy Election Commissioner R. Bhattarcharyee told reporters when asked how many such petitions have been referred by President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Governors from various states.— PTI
