Powerlinks completes portion of Tala project

NEW DELHI: Powerlinks Transmission, a joint venture of Tata Power and Power Grid Corporation of India, on Tuesday announced the completion of the Bareilly-Mandola portion of the Tala Transmission Project, three months ahead of schedule. The Tala transmission project represents India's first inter-state transmission project with public-private partnership since the enactment of the Electricity Act.
