ALAPPUZHA: The list of candidates of main political parties contesting in the Assembly constituencies in Alappuzha district found valid in scrutiny is:

Aroor: K.R. Gowri (JSS) is the UDF candidate, A.M. Aarif the LDF candidate, N.V. Prakashan BJP candidate

Cherthala: C.K. Shajimohan (Congress) is the UDF candidate, P. Thilothaman (CPI) the LDF candidate, T. Sajeev Lal the BJP candidate.

Mararikkulam: T. M. Thomas Issac of the CPI (M) is the LDF candidate, Simi Rosebell John (Congress) is the UDF candidate and Sanu Sudheendran is the BJP candidate.

Alappuzha: K.C. Venugopal (Congress) is UDF candidate, T.J. Anjelose (CPI) is the LDF candidate and Parayil Radhakrishnan is the BJP candidate.

Ambalappuzha: G. Sudhakaran (CPI (M) is LDF candidate, D. Sugathan (DIC (K) is the UDF candidate, G. Baladevan is the BJP candidate.

Kuttanad: Dr. K.C. Joseph (Kerala Congress (J) is LDF candidate, Thomas Chandy (DIC (K) is UDF candidate and T.K. Aravindakshan is the BJP candidate.
