NEW DELHI: Expressing concern over the prevailing situation in the Capital following the sealing of shops in residential areas under the directions of the Supreme Court, senior Congress leader and Kalkaji MLA, Subhash Chopra declared on Friday that he would lead a peaceful "satyagraha" against the sealing from Saturday along with the protesting traders. Talking to newsmen here, Mr. Chopra said he had been approached by the trading community and their leaders about the problems being faced by them due to the sealing of commercial establishments in residential areas. These traders had urged him to join them in their struggle to secure an amicable solution to the present problem so that the livelihood of lakhs of people is saved. Mr. Chopra said he was also contemplating undertaking "indefinite hunger strike" in favour of the agitating traders and the people of Delhi and would wait for some time before embarking on this action plan. "I have decided to come out in their support and will start my agitation from Kalkaji by blocking the main road for one hour on Saturday morning ," Mr. Chopra remarked.
