Free legal services for disabled persons

The Office of the Commissioner for Disabilities, in association with the Alternative Law Forum, will provide free legal services to disabled persons at the commissioner's office on Thambuchetty Road, Cox Town, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and also at Voices, 9th Cross, 1st Stage, Indiranagar, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursdays. Painting workshop on Wednesday

Phone directory distribution

The new "Bangalore Telephone Directory 2005-06" will be distributed through the Customer Service Centres/Telecom Centres of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in the city from Monday. BSNL landline customers can collect the set of new telephone directories in exchange of the renewal coupon available in volume 1 of the previous year's director, a BSNL release said.
